Mark Beresford
Originally Mark was a watercolourist and his discovery of oils some five years ago provided the perfect medium to capture mood and atmosphere of sea, land and city subjects.
He pursue’s subjects that evoke atmosphere, light and accommodate the all important ‘soft edge‘. Based in Sheffield painting both the city and London reflecting on childhood memories of weather, light and busy people. Outside of the city and London he draws further inspiration from the neighbouring rugged landscape of the Derbyshire Peak District.
Mark currently exhibits in several galleries Including London, Truro and the Affordable Art Fair at Battersea.
